Hi there! My name is Sarah. I am from Buffalo, NY. I moved to Sevierville, TN when I was a teenager. I graduated from Sevier County High School in 2000. After working at Damons' as a hostess, and Connors' restaurant as a prep cook, I decided to take some culinary classes at a community college in East Tennessee. When I turned 20, I went to live with my grandmother in central New Hampshire. I was always interested in cooking, and had cooked with my dad Mark since I was little. Since, at 20, I still had the cooking bug, my grandmother and I started looking for culinary schools in New England. I fell in love with the New England Culinary Institute, in Montpelier Vermont. I decided that's where I needed to go. Before Culinary school, my grandmother took me on a 16 day trip to five countries in Europe. We had the best time visiting Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy and France. Two of my favorite food memories from the trip include, but are not limited to, authentic German knockwurst sausages in Frankfurt, with German mustard, and the best crusty bread roll, and pasta Bolognese from Stresa, Italy. If given the opportunity to go back to Europe, Id do so with gusto! I started Culinary School in 2005, and in a fantastic 2 years, I had my Culinary degree. The New England Culinary Institute instilled in me a passion for great ingredients, attention to detail, and striving to be the best cook I can be every day. My favorite foods to cook are pastas of any kind, and Asian style. However, I can cook anything to please any palate. I can write a menu, or we can collaborate on a family favorite. I look forward to working with each of you to help your stay in the Smokies not only be filled with beautiful scenery, but with delicious meals as well. Hello everyone! My name is Jeremy, your Personal Executive Chef and Owner of Savory Solutions Personal Chefs & Catering, serving both local residents of the Greater Knoxville TN area communities, as well as vacationers staying in the amazing cabins nestled within our beautiful Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee! My passion for food started in my early teens, when my Grandmother (a.k.a. "Grahms"..lol) made me my first Tuna Melt while visiting her at her apartment in South Lake Tahoe, CA. I remember telling her, "I don't like tuna!", and she always told me that I didn't know what I liked, unless I tried it. After that, I found myself infatuated with tasting all types of spices, foods. reading recipes, and fell in love with my new passion for creating different flavors out of everyday foods.
At 19, my Grandmother offered to put me through Culinary School and I JUMPED at the opportunity! Once I had finished my schooling through the Fresno Academy of Culinary Arts, and obtained my certification as a Chef de' Cuisine with an emphasis in Food & Beverage Management, I went on to be the Assistant Manager of the Silver Dollar Haufbrau in Fresno, CA. Since then, I have worked as the Pantry Chef at the Peppermill Hotel & Casinos, Ramanza Restaurante', Sous Chef at the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre PA, Executive Sous Chef for the Waterfront Bar & Grill, Wilkes-Barre PA, as well as Head Catering Chef for Cheers Private Services in Norwalk, CT, where I was able to serve mr FIRST High-Profile Client- Phil Donahue, as well as other High-Profile clients!
In conclusion, my passion for the Culinary Arts and the Performing Arts has enabled me to follow a lifelong dream of starting a business where I can execute my vision for creating & PERFORMING culinary works of art for those looking to experience a unique style of catering!
